Louie and Annette Ryan of The Townhouse will be opening “Menotti’s Coffee Stop” attached to the Townhouse (in the same building) “within the next few weeks”. The coffee joint will be headed up by barista/manager Christopher ‘Nicely’ Alameda (Espresso Vivace in Seattle, Intelligentsia in Venice, Professional Barista Latte Art Champion 2010, 2011, 2012), the beans will be roasted and sourced via Four Barrel.
In the months to come, the Ryan’s plan to add another “bar within a bar” to their space, as of now named “Menotti’s Saloon”. The proprietors say the new bar space will be a reservation only, 12-18 seat classic cocktail spirit parlor and destination. Menotti’s Saloon will be underground, behind the Del Monte Speakeasy and accessed via Menotti’s Coffee Stop.
All of this Menotti’s business has to do with the original owner, Cesar Menotti, and the original name of the Townhouse, Menotti’s.
