It may look from the outside like a strip mall fast food joint, but it is possibly the best Cajun restaurant on the west side. Filé Gumbo, Catfish, Jambalaya and classic Po’boy sandwiches are all on the menu.
With friendly service from the staff and also the owner, another great thing is Uncle Darrow’s has a live band on the back patio Thursday and Saturdays from 12-2 PM when the weather is good.
