The Venice Ale House will host adventurer Rob Greenfield on Friday, October 25th from 5-8pm! Rob is currently on a “Do Good Tour”, a quick trip from San Francisco to San Diego. Head down to the Ale House and give him a big Venice welcome! Rob will have many stories to share about his world travels! He may inspire you to go on a trip too!
Rob’s mission is to “entertain, educate, inspire and give back through creative and eye opening adventures”. Rob says he is “using my life to create as many happy healthy humans as I possibly can”. You can keep up with and read more about previous adventures on his Facebook page and website!
From Rob:
In this months adventure, “The Do Good Tour”, I am cycling through California spreading goodness everywhere I go. You’ll find me on this 650 mile tour planting flowers and veggies, holding a “Free Hugs” sign, feeding people on the streets, passing out fresh fruit, picking up trash, volunteering at non-profits and doing whatever good things I can get myself into.
Of course I will be spreading environmental awareness throughout the journey and taking part in personal challenges myself. I will be creating near zero trash, eating local healthy food, composting food waste, conserving water and electricity, and riding my bike every day.
The Do Good Tour in Los Angeles:
Friday: Stamping money out of Politics and hanging out Venice Ale House from 5-8 PM
Saturday: Sustainability talk and potluck at Gaia Sangha Eco Community from 6-8 PM
Sunday: Do Good Bike Ride- Planting wild flowers and picking up trash (Venice 10 AM)
