This wonderful resource for “foodies” as well as neighbors running in for a forgotten item is the latest victim of the slow economy. They had a steady lunch clientele that will miss the convenience, the tasty food, and personal attention. The neighborhood won’t be the same without them.
A note to other local business owners: I didn’t hear about this until yesterday … there is a chance that had Yo! Venice! been informed of the slow times at the shop a few months ago, word could have been put out to the community to help save the store. Most all Venetians read this website and it can make news travel fast. If your business needs a lifeline, drop Yo! Venice! an email and we will try to help you through this rough economy.
