Local gelato and sorbet shop N’ice Cream is shutting down its flagship location, which has been on Abbot-Kinney for the past 8 years.
“Unfortunately we have had to make one of the hardest decisions in our lives; to close the Abbot-Kinney location. Because of the competition across the street we have not been able to make enough money over the busy Summer months, and will therefore not be able to sustain the location during the very slow Winter months,” said shop owners Christian and Laura.
The business, however, is not closed for good. Additional Westisde locations on the Boardwalk and in Playa del Rey will remain open. This Sunday will be the Abbot-Kinney shop’s final day.
“Sunday, October 23rd will be our last day and we’re planning something special for all of you. Follow us on social media for more details,” said Christina and Laura.
N’ice Cream is located at 1410 Abbot-Kinney Blvd.
