The Pork Belly’s Sandwich Shop will “soft open” for lunch at 1146 Abbot Kinney this Monday, July 15th! The location was previously occupied by the Glencrest Bar-B-Que, which closed in February after 25 years in business.
The sandwich shop will be open all week for lunch from 10:30am – 2:00pm with plans to increase their hours to 9:00 PM starting on Friday, July 19th!
The opening week menu is as follows:
SANDWICHES:
The Belly Up – $8.95 Our signature sandwich. Smoked BBQ Pork Belly topped with homemade coleslaw on a brioche roll. You’re gonna love it!
The Chop – $8.95 Brisket smoked for over 12 hours in our in-house smoker then chopped. Topped with our homemade BBQ sauce and Deep Fried Pickles on a brioche roll.
PBLT – $8.95 Thick sliced Pork Belly, lettuce, tomato and mayo on toasted sourdough. Add avocado for $.99 more.
Abbot Joe – $8.95 Mom’s secret recipe – Chorizo Sloppy Joes with potatoes, onions and green peppers. Topped with a Fried Egg on a brioche roll.
Kinney Joe – $8.95 Veggie Sloppy Joes made with peppers, onions and homemade tomato sauce. Topped with Deep Fried Pickles on a brioche roll.
Cheesy Chicken Parm – $8.95 Lightly pounded free range chicken breaded and golden fried. Topped with homemade tomato sauce and melted cheese on a grinder roll.
Smoky Balls – $8.95 Our Pork & Beef meatballs smoked to perfection then thinly sliced. Served with our homemade tomato sauce, peppers and onions on a grinder roll. All topped with melted cheese.
The Chop Melt – $8.95 Our classic chopped brisket combined with melted cheese and pressed. Served on sourdough bread.
The Melt – $7.95 Grilled cheese pressed and served on sourdough bread with homemade tomato sauce.
