On Friday the 13th, The Venice Ale House will debut their new “Venice Hi Hop XPA” starting at 5pm.
The tap brew, created by Ale House proprietors Thomas Elliott and Spoon Singh, is “light in color, quite dry and very hoppy. Its essence of apricots and raspberries come straight from the hops. Crispy malts balance the bitter.” it is “light with a bite” at 6.2% ABV.
Singh, who founded the Kona Brewing Company, has had craft brewing success in the past with Kona’s Longboard Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale and Pipeline Porter.
While not produced on the Venice Ale House premises, the brew is made in California and will be sold exclusively at The Venice Ale House.
