The second annual “Holiday Lighting” of the Venice Sign at Windward and Pacific will be held this evening starting at 6pm. Live performances by local musicians The Venice Symphony Orchestra and the Dustbowl Revival start at 7pm-ish. Dress up in something warm, as it is expected to be 50-53º during the block party!

Presentations by Councilman Mike Bonin and others are expected to start at 7:45 pm, with Venice actress (The Grifters, The Crossing Guard) and director Anjelica Huston “flipping the switch” during the ceremonial lighting at 8pm. Santa will appear soon after!

During the holiday festivities (thru their closing), The Bank of Venice at 80 Windward will be taking donations for the widow and 1 year old of Guillermo Perez! Please stop in and share generously with this Venice family in their time of need!
