The $150 million Aimco renovation of the Lincoln Place Apartments officially began with a ground-breaking ceremony in November. The project is scheduled to run through the fall of 2014 and involves the rehabilitation of 45 existing apartment buildings containing 696 apartment units in accordance with the Secretary of Interior Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties.
The project will also create 59 new apartment units along Lake Street and 40 new apartment units along Frederick Street as well as a two-story fitness center with aerobics/ spinning room, internet café and outdoor workout areas, a swimming pool with underwater music, poolside cabanas, fire pit and fireplace lounge, and rooftop social deck and lounge area with city and ocean views.
Pricing has been announced as such:
Redwood: 1 bed, 1 bath in 683 sq ft. starting at $1,999.
Lincoln: 2 bed, 1 bath in 847 sq ft. starting at $2,499.
Washington: 3 bed, 2 bath in 1,270 sq ft. starting at $3,599.
