County lifeguards rescued a person who fell or jumped from the Venice Pier Monday afternoon.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel dispatched around 3:55 p.m. to the end of the pier on July 17. Lifeguards had already pulled the person from the water, according to the LAFD’s Brian Humphrey.
The patient, whose age, gender and condition were not immediately available, was taken to a hospital, Humphrey said.
