Investigation into Possible Murder/Suicide in Venice

Police told ABC7 an 83-year-old man was found hanging in the backyard of a home on Palms Blvd with a gunshot wound to the head. His 85-year-old wife was found shot in the head. Investigators believe the man killed his wife, then killed
himself. A suicide note was found at the scene, indicating the wife was
suffering from dementia, the station reported.

Investigators were sent to the 1000 block of East Palms Boulevard at
7:20 a.m.this morning and found the bodies, said Los Angeles police Officer Jenny Hauser. The case was reported to the coroner’s office as a murder/suicide, said
