Not much info on the Superba Snack Shop at 533 Rose besides the new Alcoholic Beverage Control License application, which says it will serve food onsite with beer and wine. If it is any indication of what to come, the build out is being done by Ramland Construction, who have previously done Gjelina Take Away, Fig & Olive, One Pico, Urth Café and Cafe Med.
In July of 2010, the property went before the Venice Neighborhood Council as the proposed “Big A Restaurant” with operating hours of 9AM-11PM weekdays and 9AM- 12 midnight on Friday and Saturday with no deliveries before 8:30 AM on weekdays or 10AM on weekends but Redfin notes the property sold on 12-28-11 for $1,300,000.
