Dear Friends,
Many of you have followed the City’s ongoing struggle with the judicial system to come up with a workable plan to regulate commercial vending, promote entertainers and performers, and protect residential quality of life at Venice Beach.
City officials have been working on a new ordinance over the last several months to help govern the famed Ocean Front Walk and you can read the current draft ordinance here.
This new ordinance will go before the full City Council for consideration at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, in City Council Chambers, 200 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. You are welcome to attend and let me and my colleagues know your thoughts.
