The Venice Surf and Skate Association (VSA) is hosting the first official skateboard competition at the new Dennis “Polar Bear” Agnew Venice Beach Skate Plaza November 21st, 2009. Named the “1st annual Thanksgiving Massacre”, the contest will be a celebration of the new skate park, the VSA, the VSA volunteers and of future contests to be held at the skate plaza.
$500 1st place prize, $20 pro entry and $10 amateur entry fee.
Registration is at 9am, the first heat begins at 10am and will continue through much of the day. The after party will be at the Waterfront, and we will be putting up a flier for that soon.
