Of course we had to go see what kind of Halloween Costume won the $1,000 Baja Cantina first place prize of 2009 … and here it is:
I’m pretty sure it cost a lot to buy and is a replica of some movie character … but are store bought costumes really worthy of a 1st prize? Award creativity judges! If prizes are to be awarded on costume purchase price alone, lots of the sexy cheerleaders and nurses that were walking around paid A LOT more to fill out their costumes .. know what I am sayin’? That said Baja was packed and there were a lot of great costumes.
1st place at Hinano was a dude that dressed up as a pilot and had a sign around his neck that said “This is your captain, wake me up when we get there.”
