Two skateboarders attacked a Local Venice man, Angel Maldonado, bashing him over the head with their boards on 27th Place at 6:30 pm Friday evening, March 31st.
Maldonado has worked in Venice as a building manager for close to 30 years.
He said the skaters were on the property he manages at 17 28th Avenue riding their boards into the building wall. He asked them to stop. When they refused things got physical.
During the fight, Maldonado was hit across the head and left with a large gash on his forehead. The board narrowly missing his eye.
Police are still looking for the attackers.
A walk street local, Maldonado is known for keeping an eye out for the neighborhood. He now hopes locals can be on the lookout and help find his attackers.
