This weekend will be mainly sunny with highs around 80° here in Venice. As there are “excessive heat” levels expected elsewhere in Los Angeles, there will be a “Severe Risk” of tourist visitations expected at the beach as Angelenos try to escape the 105-115° temperatures downtown and in parts of the valleys.
Residents are advised to do all of their grocery shopping by 10am tomorrow. Access for beer and wine runs to local corner stores by foot, skateboard or bicycle are expected to remain open and safe. Resident parking should be secured by 10:30 am Saturday at the latest, with precautions taken until 5 pm Monday.
This “Severe Risk” advisory will also be in place for the upcoming 4th of July Weekend.
