Early this morning, The Venice Historical Society installed a historic gondola at the Windward Circle.
This gondola, based on the original 1900’s gondola plans from Abbot Kinney’s “Venice of America” decorator Arthur L. Reese, was most recently located in front of the Chase bank on Lincoln Blvd. until Chase donated it to The Venice Historical Society.

The gondola is fragile so it will have a sign announcing that no person shall sit or climb on the gondola. It will also have security cameras to protect the gondola from vandals! Big thanks to Chase Bank and The Venice Historical Society! (Pictures by Ray Rae!)
