Boat Runs Aground on Venice Beach


Two people were rescued from the water on Saturday night after they jumped off a thirty-two-foot sailboat that ran aground near the Venice Pier.

LA County Fire Department lifeguards said the two passengers were not injured in the incident, which took place around 6 p.m.

Baywatch Rescue Boats were there to tow the
beached boat back out to sea.
