Man Breaks Through the Front Door at Danny’s in Venice

A man smashed his way through the front door of Danny’s on Windward Ave this morning at 5 a.m.

LAPD arrived quickly on the scene requesting a backup before taking the man, the who had entered the premises was inside, into custody.

One cafe worker said by the time he arrived at work the front door had been boarded up.

“Nothing was stolen. We looked at the security tapes and the man just busted his way in. He seemed kind of crazy. It didn’t look like he indended to take anything” said the worker.

Currently the doorway is a gaping hole waiting for a new pane of glass.
