Gebert Gallery : Judith Kindler

The Gebert Gallery on Abbot Kinney will host an opening reception for Judith Kindler : “Seen/Unseen” on Saturday, July 23rd from 6 to 9 pm.

Judith Kindler : "Seen/Unseen"

In this conceptual series of work, Judith Kindler presents mixed media works and installations inspired by our cultural processes of hiding and revealing those things that gain value or diminish value. She deals with perceptions of what we choose to show or purposefully conceal, our desire to see or learn more or preference to avoid exposure through opening ourselves or lives up to scrutiny.
