From the family of Jose “Charrito” Medel Flores:
Jose “Charrito” Medel Flores, a resident of Venice for twenty years, passed away on November 20, 2010 at the age of 56. He was born on June 10, 1954 in Mexico City.
In his earlier years, his deep passion and favorite sport was soccer, in which he was nicknamed “Pele” by his coach and friends. Not only was he a great soccer player but also loved walking daily and a well dedicated, hard-working individual who helped out many people. A devoted son and brother, he had a heart that is worth more than a billion dollars. He resided just a few feet away where he was found.
He is survived by his 73 yrs old mother, Esther; 3 sisters, Martha, Lidia, and Jeannette; 2 brothers, Mauricio and Carlos; Godson’s Ashton 4 yrs old, Brandon 18 yrs old, Habib 19 yrs old; and 5 nephews, 1 niece.
He will be deeply and truly missed.
