Patio Culture is the latest on the Venice Beach shuttered list. It seems like there are two or so a week, with vacancies lying dormant for months if not years around here (there are a few on Lincoln that have been for lease for over a year!) Yo! Landlords! It is 2010! Ease off on the rents, you are being unrealistic that businesses can survive at these rent rates. People aren’t spending money like its the 90’s and you can’t be jacking rents every year like it was the 90s either. Go bone up on some readin‘ or something, dog! Maybe you paid a lot for the place you own or borrowed against it, but that doesn’t mean it is worth what you are asking.
