Surfrider Foundation is having a 25th anniversary celebration tomorrow night (August 25th) from 7 PM on at Duke’s in Malibu. The Surfrider Foundation was started in Malibu in 1984 by a handful of surfers to protest threats to their local surf break at Malibu Point. Surfrider is a non-profit environmental grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches for all people, through conservation, activism, research and education. The West LA/Malibu Chapter represents 31 miles of coastline from Ballona Creek to LA county line and inland. Music, food and drinks will happen.
