Repost!
Due to budget restrictions the annual (since the early 80’s) Marina Del Rey Independence Day fireworks display will not take place this 4th of July. The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors event usually costs around $80k to put on: $30k for the Zambelli Pyrotechnics and the rest for the barge and other related costs. It is estimated that 25k spectators attend the show. Hopefully it will be back next year!
If you are looking for local fireworks shows, there will be 4th of July shows in the Pacific Palisades and Culver City.
