Witnesses Reported One of the Drivers Possibly Lost Consciousness
A two-car crash in the Play del Rey area on Tuesday night left two juvenile boys dead while three others were injured, according to ABC7.
A little after 8 p.m. on Vista Del Mar, a short distance from Dockweiler State Beach, the collision occurred. Among the four juveniles within one of the vehicles involved, one of them was pronounced dead on scene, while the other later succumbed to injuries. At the time of this writing, the ages of the deceased haven’t been disclosed.
The remaining juveniles in the car were transported to a hospital with injuries. Another individual involved in the accident, a woman in her 30s who was in the other car, was also hospitalized.
According to ABC7, witnesses reported one of the drivers possibly lost consciousness, veering the vehicle into oncoming traffic.
Authorities stated that there is no evidence of either driver being under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
