Three permanently parked recreational vehicles clutter sidewalk access with couches and tables, even a lawnmower
By Nick Antonicello
There are currently three, permanently parked recreational vehicles on the southside of Venice Boulevard in front and just east of the Extra Space Storage, that have all kinds of outside items making it difficult for pedestrians to walk.
These photos were taken Thursday, May 16th.
One vehicle currently has a couch and table, along with a lawnmower while the other just east of Abbot Kinney has several bicycles and other items that make it difficult to access the sidewalk.
The third directly in-front of Extra Space has no personal items as of this writing on the sidewalk or street.
The battle to remove and sweep Venice Boulevard has been a difficult task as the three mentioned RV’s have found parking that is not in a residential cluster.
The three are all parked in front of commercial businesses and properties.
The one permanently parked RV that has been in that same spot just east of Abbot Kinney for the last six months occupies a large portion of the street and sidewalk with multiple items.
Yo! Venice will continue to monitor the situation and hopefully city officials will be able to address it sooner than later.
