New Encampment on the Saint Joseph’s side of the street worries residents

A new sidewalk encampment has sprouted on Hampton as this photo was taken at 9:45 a.m. on May 14.
With the Jewish Center Preschool just a few feet away, residents are noting that such a sidewalk encampment needs to be removed.
Hampton has struggled with the encampment crisis for years as great strides have been made however, to reduce the number of homeless on the streets in Venice thanks to the efforts of local officials and CD-11.
Yo! Venice will monitor the progress of an encampment removal so that a backslide of new tents and structures do not populate Hampton & Rose.
