After a rainstorm last night, approximately 14,000 L.A.D.W.P. customers are without power this morning. Scattered transformer and utility pole fires, caused by the storm, have affected the power in a dozen different areas around the city; Venice included.
As of 8:30 am, Venice was affected the most by the outages with 7,900 customers left without electricity.
