Venice Beach was packed yesterday, with traffic congestion closer to that of a summer day, frustrating some locals who didn’t expect the unseasonable crowd of beach visitors and the jam of cars lining up along North Venice Blvd., waiting to enter the parking lot.
The heatwave continues today, with temperatures set to reach the 90s. However, Mother Nature’s practice run for summer is predicted to come to an end after today, for a couple of days at least. Early morning showers are expected tomorrow and rain is forecast for Thursday, bringing with it cooler temperatures, National Weather Service forecasters said.
After the rain however, the sunny weather is expected to return. From Friday, a warming trend will get underway Saturday, with temperature highs reverting to the 80s by Sunday.
