The 13th annual Marina del Rey Summer Concert series has released their schedule for 2013. Performers include Poncho Sanchez, Rose Royce, Taylor Dayne and Billy Ocean.

August 3 – “Pop” Saturday: Taylor Dayne
August 8 – Classical Thursday: Rufus Choi, Piano
August 17 – “Pop” Saturday: Poncho Sanchez
August 22 – Classical Thursday: Roberto Cani, Violin
August 31 – “Pop” Saturday: Rose Royce
The concerns are free and open to the public!
The Hornblower Café in the Park is open for dining on concert nights. Chairs are available for rent at the concert site or in advance by calling Hornblower Café at 310-823-8400.
The WaterBus, operating from seven locations in the Marina, serves concert-goers on Classical Thursdays from 5 pm to midnight, and on Pop Saturdays from 11 am to midnight. $1.00 per person each way. The Beach Shuttle provides free land shuttle service directly to and from Chace Park on concert nights.
