Eater LA notes that New York City based juice cleanse company BluePrint will be opening at 1422 Abbot Kinney (Abbot Kinney Real Estate’s old office) this summer, joining fellow “premium juice” joints Kreation Juice (opening at 1202 Abbot Kinney, the old Jin Patisserie location), Pressed Juicery (sold at Tom’s), the Whole Foods juice bar and Moon Juice on Rose.
Want to join the juice craze on a budget? DIY with a “centrifugal juicer” or a “cold press” juicer (aka “masticating juicer”). The argument for a cold press juicer is that less heat is generated which leaves more nutrients in your juice.
As trends come and go, maybe “the hottest block in America” will get a few fondue places with chocolate fountains soon.
