Los Angeles is working on a massive overhaul of its zoning laws, the first of its kind in 67 years, and they are calling the project re:code. As part of the initial steps of the project, the Department of City Planning has studied the existing zoning code and released a report outlining their criticisms and a general framework for new zoning code. Tonight they are soliciting public opinion and input through an online virtual forum. More information about the forum is available on their site.
