If you’ve been stuck at home like most of us during the COVID era, then you might be ready to travel as soon as possible. You may even be planning to travel to Atlanta. Whether it’s for business or pleasure, there’s quite a lot for anyone to do in Atlanta, so you won’t need to worry about being bored. Here’s a quick look at a few ideas for you to consider when planning your trip.
Get Lined Up
A lot of people might visit their salon or barber before taking a trip, but if you’re going to Atlanta, you may want to do that on the trip itself. When it comes to finding a good barber, Atlanta is the best place you could be. Get a better cut at prices that are likely lower than California prices and look your best while you’re on your trip.
Centennial Olympic Park
With or without your vaccine, when you are ready to hit the road, what do you want to do? If you’re into visiting historic places, you might pay a visit to this park that was built specifically for the Olympic Games in 1006. This urban space is completely surrounded by things like amusement parks, museums, malls, restaurants, shops, and anything else that a tourist could want.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
This place is more than just some random display of magnolias, azaleas, camellias, orchids and roses. Oh no, in fact, the Atlanta Botanical Garden may just be one of the most gorgeous things you’ll see in the continental US.
In addition to the flowers, there are also edible gardens and even canopy walks right in the treetops! Go from dense rainforest areas to tidy landscapes that are well-maintained to oriental gardens. All of that and more are on display daily at the gardens.
Tiny Doors ATL
If you enjoy art and are looking for something a bit different, this might be what you’re looking for. Tiny Doors ATL just happens to be one of the most different attractions you can find in Atlanta. Now, this isn’t an art project created by a single person, but it does feature tiny little doll-like doors. It actually features artists from all over the city.
These doors might be painted on bricks or elaborate constructions of stone or plastic and surrounded by things like mailboxes, gardens, and fences. Also, since they’re scattered across the city, it’s akin to a scavenger hunt trying to find all of them. There are even people who actually leave offerings at these little doors!
Andretti Indoor Karting and Games
Sure, you could go to Six Flags, but what about when it rains on the day you planned to spend
having fun? Head on over to this place where fun can be found for every member of the family. Here you’ll find things like VR video games, rope courses, fight simulations, go-karts, and arcades. For the grown people there are things like interactive zombie movies and even bowling! There’s laser tag and even a grill where you can fuel up after expending all of that energy having fun.
Begin Planning Now
This is just an incredibly small sample of some of the things you might do in Atlanta. There’s also the Underground, the State Capital, Legoland, and so much more. And that doesn’t even begin to cover all of the historical sites. It doesn’t matter if you’re headed that way for a family vacation, bachelor party, work trip, or even a honeymoon, there’s plenty you’ll not want to miss. The only problem will be deciding what to do first!
