Hal’s Bar & Grill, at 1349 Abbot Kinney Blvd., announced late Monday it will have its last day of business on Sunday, April 26.
The closing date announcement comes just one week after the restaurant said it would initially close in “30 to 45 days.”
“As we approach our 30th year serving the Venice community and announce plans to close our current location, negotiations and plans are taking shape to establish a new Hal’s nearby,” the restaurant said in a statement Monday evening. “We’ll continue to share updates as specifics become clear. Follow us via Twitter for updates @HalsVenice.”
The statement from the restaurant continued:
“We’re committed to continuing to support the Venice community and truly appreciate the privilege of being here. Thank you for your love and support as we embark on this next chapter together. In the meantime, please come and dine with us! Celebrate the legacy that is Hal’s and say good-bye—but not farewell!”
