It’s almost time to say farewell to 2014 and welcome in a new beginning. Do you want to create a truly memorable New Year’s Eve with your sweetheart this year and forget the crowds, traffic and stress for once?
Then join Greta Hassel and Dennis Cohen, founders of Luvskool, on Monday, Dec. 29 from 7:30 pm to 10 pm for the ultimate New Year’s Eve planning event in Venice.
At this free event, attendees will explore the use of fabulous food, dramatic dress, musical movement and conscious ceremony to create a fun, delicious and sensual evening at home that you’ll remember for years to come.
If you and your sweetheart are planning on celebrating New Year’s Eve this year, essentially you have three choices:
1) Restaurant/night club: This is a great idea if you like to party with strangers, pay a lot of money for mediocre fare, and be treated as if you’re on a tour – you know, here’s your glass of champagne, here’s a noisemaker, etc. Plus, you’ve got to get there and back, which means traffic and a designated driver (or risking DUI checkpoints and a BIG ticket).
2) Private party: Definitely a step up (assuming it’s a good party), but you still have the traffic and driving issues.
3) Stay home: Safer by a long shot, but how much fun is it to watch a bunch of people partying on TV as you wait for the big ball to drop at Time’s Square?
This New Year’s Eve wander off the beaten path, leave the past behind and create something new and exciting. To save your spot at the Dec. 29 free event, visit www.luvskool.com or e-mail questions and comments to info@luvskool.com.
