Few tickets remain for Sunday’s Taste of Venice 2014 on Abbot Kinney Boulevard for an afternoon of food and culture – all for a compelling cause.
Starting at The Electric Lodge, Taste of Venice highlights Venice’s extraordinary culinary talent and features a unique restaurant walking/tasting tour where attendees sample signature dishes from chefs as well as enjoy wine, beer and cocktail tastings.
Highlights also include music, cooking demonstrations by favorite Venice chefs, and special presentations by celebrity hosts.
The event supports the Inside Out Community Arts Program of P.S. ARTS while celebrating chefs that make this eclectic and cosmopolitan community their home.
Taste of Venice consists of three courses: the opening ceremony, the tasting hour, and the post reception.
Guests will be divided into 25 “tour groups,” each led by a “Tastemaker,” a well-known member of the Los Angeles culinary community.
The opening ceremony from 3-4:30 pm will feature food, cocktails, a silent auction, and entertainment.
The tasting tour from 4-6:30 pm will be an opportunity to taste exclusive samples from top Abbot Kinney Boulevard restaurants.
The post reception from 6:30-7 pm will include coffee, treats, and drinks.
All funds raised support the arts education program.
The Electric Lodge is located at 1416 Electric Avenue, Venice, CA 90291.
