The Santa Monica Pier “Twilight Concert Series” summer concert series will begin this Thursday, featuring “alternative” rock band Surfer Blood with the local Terraplane Sun as the opening act!
The summer concerts run from 7-10pm and are FREE! Pack a picnic and enjoy the music from the beach!
The Twilight Concert Series has partnered with the”refreshed” MySpace this year, so all of the concerts will be broadcast live online. If you can’t make it to a show but want to watch from elsewhere, click here!

July 18: Ten-time Grammy nominated singer, songwriter, and bassist Meshell Ndegeocello with opening act The Record Company.
July 25: LA’s two-person experimental punk group No Age with Tijuana Panthers as the opener.
August 1: Australian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Xavier Rudd
August 8: Singer-songwriter Hanni El Khatib and Bombino
August 15: 80s New Wave by The English Beat with opening artist Maxwell Smart
August 22: LA Native Nick Waterhouse and Boogaloo Assassins
August 29: New Orleans, LA’s Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue
September 5: Gardens & Villa and Mr. Little Jeans
September 12: Reggae one and only Jimmy Cliff, with The Delirians as the opening act!
