Ray Manzarek: The Doors in Venice Beach

A video of Doors co-founder Ray Manzarek touring Venice Beach and Santa Monica has been put up on YouTube.

The video, a promo made as part of Manzarek’s 2000 film “Love Her Madly“, discusses the early days of the Doors, clarifying that the band was started on the beach in Santa Monica, not Venice … so there goes that myth!

RIP Ray.
