The third annual Santa Monica Pier Paddleboard Race and Ocean Festival is taking place this Saturday, June 9th! The event features multiple ocean based events as well as spectator activities. Go for the win or go for the fun, it should be a great day of activities!
The festival is an all-day family friendly celebration of surf, paddleboard and lifeguard history. One of a kind exhibits include Jeff Ho displaying vintage boards and photos from his personal collection as part of a greater “largest-of-it’s-kind” exhibition of antique surfboards and paddleboards, artifacts, historic photographs as well as classic cars from the California beach culture.
Live entertainment will take place all day long, including Hawaiian-style slack-key guitar, hula dance troupes and a live performance by the FuDogs.
