Tonight from 6:30 – 9:00 PM, the Venice Neighborhood Council will host a “town hall” to once again discuss RV Dwellers and the “Roadmap to Housing” (aka the “Streets to Homes”) program.
Click here to download the letter that the Venice Stakeholders wrote to Bill Rosendahl about the draft ordinance yesterday.
In attendance will be Councilman Rosendahl (just heard his staff advised him not to attend) and Captain Peters of the LAPD. Mike Bonin, The Chief of Staff for Council District 11 and Joel John Reynolds, Executive Director of People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) will give short presentations at the beginning of the meeting to provide information about the “Roadmap to Housing” Program. They will take questions from the public after the presentation.
Tonight’s meeting is only one day before a hearing regarding a proposed ordinance change to 85.02 with the creation on 85.11 which is scheduled by the City’s Transportation Committee on Wednesday, March 23 at 2 PM.
