The Venice Neighborhood Council Board of Officers will hear a report on the impact of a recent court ruling striking down parts of the City’s ordinance (LAMC 42.15) regulating activities on Venice’s Ocean Front Walk.
The video below has strong language in it. It is too bad that some of the “free speech” proponents are using lawyers to make the boardwalk a completely family unfriendly zone. If I had children, I would not take them to the Venice Boardwalk at this point in time.
If the boardwalk “scene” and some of the performers / vendors continue on like they are doing now, it is foreseeable that in the near future the entire vending zone may be abolished in the interest of public safety.
