Missing Person Nancy Barrett
The Barrett family and the Los Angeles Police Department request the public’s assistance in locating the whereabouts of Nancy Barrett.
Barrett was last seen on July 14, 2010 around 4:45 p.m. in the area of her home in the 2600 block of Grand Canal Court in the Venice area.
Barrett moved from her apartment to her car which was parked in front her former home. Friends and family told police that Barrett was distraught over the loss of a pet that had been ill. She then abandoned her car and possessions and left the area and has not been seen or heard from since her departure. Her family is extremely concerned for her welfare.
Barrett is described as a 52-year-old white female with brown hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds. She may have been wearing green cargo pants and a tan sweater. She may be in the Venice Beach or Santa Monica area.
