Supergirl Jam is back! The 35ft snowboard ramp has been built and 80,000 pounds of freshly made snow is about to be laid down for this Sunday’s “snowboarding rail jam”. The competition starts at 12.
Two-time champion Laurie Currier is expected to defend her title, with former Supergirl Snowboard Rail Jam medalists Chanelle Sladics and Leanne Pelosi as well as a host of other top pros determined to thwart a three-peat.
In addition to snowboarding on the beach, the event features thirty of the very best skateboarding and inline skating pros competing on a custom-built street course designed to challenge their board and rail skills. Injured in 2009, the 2008 Supergirl Jam Skateboard Street champion Lauren Perkins returns in an attempt to recapture the title that Amy Caron claimed last year.
