The VNC is asking business owners to help curb the amount of trash caused by cigarette butts around Venice with their “Bin Your Butts” program. Business owners are asked to purchase cigarette butt receptacles to be placed outside of their businesses, to be “owned and maintained by your business.”

Yo! Venice! supports this program, so feel free to guilt your local restaurant, coffee shop or bar owner into joining in on our behalf. The Yo! Venice! “go-to” butt receptacle of choice would be something like the Aladdin Smokers Station seen here. These things seem to do well with the amount of wind that we have here.
