St. Joseph Center will host its 25th annual Dinner Dance and Auctions gala at the Skirball Cultural Center this Saturday, May 1st, 2010.

This year, the “Hope Through Empowerment Award” will be presented to actor, writer, director and producer David Arquette for his commitment to eradicating hunger in his community and across the country. David is also an advocate for change as the chairperson of the Entertainment Council for Feeding America, the country’s top facilitator of donations from food producers to regional food banks.
The “Special Recognition Award” recipient this year is client Keisha Woods, who has demonstrated tremendous courage as she worked toward her goals of attaining sobriety and creating a stable home for her two sons
The night features a dynamic lineup that includes celebrity emcee Samantha Harris and a special musical performance by Katharine McPhee. Additional guests include Arquette’s celebrity friends Tobey Maguire, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher.
