One of the nice things about rainy days is they get you out and about checking out new places to eat in the car, rather than walking to “the usual”. A block or two south of Venice is the new SouthWest Mexican Grill on Lincoln. Very reasonably priced, we really enjoyed our meal here. (Click here to see the lunch menu.)
Family owned, servers shower you with attention and while we were dining they gave us complimentary pre-dinner tamales and after dinner Crème brûlée which was superb. (And no, they had no idea I was doing a “review” – that’s just how they roll out the hospitality.) Nothing but positive things to say about this place, go check it out!
