Do you feel safe in your neighborhood? Is there a public safety issue in your community that needs attention? Do you have any ideas about how we can improve the way police keep our streets safe?
If so, the Los Angeles Police Department needs to hear your input. Next Tuesday, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck and the members of the Los Angeles Police Commission are coming to the Westside for a special community meeting, and I am writing you today to ask that you join me there.
The new commission and the chief are holding community meetings around the city to hear from YOU, and this is our opportunity to speak up for our neighborhoods. Please share this message with your friends and neighbors and encourage them to also attend Tuesday’s meeting.
