The 8th annual Venice Beach Music Fest will be held this Saturday, September 21st, in the Windward Plaza Park from 11am to 7pm! As always, the event is free and open to the public!
Festival producer Milton Rosenberg has assembled a mind melting roster this year, firing up the day with the blazing guitars of the glam-strat slinging Stevie Starlight and guitar virtuoso Michael Jost, both from Venice. The Familyhood Nextperience (featuring Norwood and many of the current FishBone crew) and the husband-and-wife team of Looner will take the festival through mid afternoon, with Venice’s number one party band Meet Me at the Pub blowing the stage up before 60’s icon and headliner Willie Chambers brings it all back to earth!
Bring a blanket and some chairs and make a day out of the festival! While you can not legally drink alcohol at the Park Plaza, the awesome Sidewalk Cafe is only a few feet away! Sit outside on their patio and listen to the music while enjoying food and drinks!
