Tony Vera, the nicest guy in Venice with a video camera, came across Venetian Dan Adler while he was taping an ad for his 36th Congressional District campaign. The special election will be held on May 17th.
The spot, which was shot at Muscle Beach, was directed by actor Sean Aston and features his mother Patty Duke. Astin is also Dan Adler’s campaign manager.
Patty Duke can be seen doing some weightlifting (6:00) and also (18:25) discussing Jane Russell, Lindsay Lohan, her film Valley of the Dolls and directing plays near her home in Spokane, Washington.
